Dr. Mahnaz Rashti

Dr. Mahnaz Rashti obtained her D.D.S. degree from New York University, College of Dentistry in 1994. She then completed a two-year general practice residency at West Los Angeles Veteran Administration Hospital treating medically compromised patients and practicing hospital dentistry. Her interest in the specialty of Periodontics brought her to pursue a three-year postgraduate study in the field of Periodontics and dental implant at the Veteran Administration-UCLA Medical Center in 1996.

From 1994-1996 she taught as the clinical instructor at UCLA department of Oral Diagnosis and Oral Medicine. From 1996-1999 she was the instructor at the clinic of Periodontics at UCLA and she is currently is the staff at Cedar Sinai Hospital and Clinical Assistant Professor at Veteran Hospital.

She is specialized in periodontal plastic and reconstrctive surgery, dental implants, periodontal medicine, and conscious sedation. A recipient of numerous academic awards during her dental training, she is also a member of multiple academic and professional organizations. Dr. Rashti’s experience in conscious sedation, knowledge and skills in periodontal medicine adds a special dimension to her ability to treat patients with many needs including phobic patients. Dr. Rashti is constantly trying to improve her techniques in patient care and patient communication skills. She tries to develop close coordination with referring general dentists and dental specialists. With vast experiences in treating complex dental cases, Dr. Rashti often serves as a consultant to the other dentists and receives referral from them.
Dr. Rashti enjoys many outdoor activities, including jogging and swimming with her husband and two children.
